Our one night stay Sampaguita Inn Cebu City.
Hi everyone!!! I miss my blog so much :) after being so busy for two weeks or so I finally got chance to mingle with my cyber haven again. Today let me share with you a place where you can stay in Cebu and our unforgettably experience with the awesome staff.
Sampaguita Inn Plaza Garcia is strategically located at the heart of Cebu City making it very accessible to almost all of the tourist destination there in. It is 10 minutes from SM and only cost us 70 pesos on taxi Cab. Ha-ha we took a cab as we don’t have much time to figure out if we could take a jeep.
We checked in at 11:30 am and good thing that they allowed us, so it gave us time to rest. After two hours, we went down and start walking around. The Magellan's cross is just a stone throw away, then everything follows in a walking distance with the last stop at Casa Gorodor. See how nice to stay here? We haven’t spent anything for the fare, a clear reason why this is one of traveler's first choice.
That is how the location becomes very edgy for this hotel. How about the accommodation itself? This are the photos of our room, this cost us Php950.00 for one night (I am not sure how would that help for your budget but as for me who is still in the process of getting things in the most practical way the price was already good enough). The room was fine..
They have a good closet where we can set our things. The mattresses were clean, I can see some stains but it is not that visible. The only thing that bothered us in our stay was the air-condition unit and the shower. Both only give us two options, the air-condition unit can function lowering temperature to very cool or just turn it of and feel the warm weather; the shower do otherwise it’s either the tap water or the supper warm water if you use hot adjustment.
Unfortunately not a room for smokers. |
Despite of the air-conditioning unit and the shower; all in all we had a good stay and giving the credit to the very accommodating and helpful staff. As you’ve read we checked-in two hours and half in advance and so you know we went out the next day 45 minutes beyond the check-out time and we never heard any rush from them. Another thing was, Jac left the phone and just realized it when we were about to take a taxi going to Crown Regency. Jac wasn’t sure where she’d left it so we took a chance and went back for the benefit of the doubt that the phone was left inside the room.
We first went to the information to report the lost and they immediately called a concierge to accompany Jac back to the room. I was left at the lobby and saw the hotel front desk personnel called the room to inform the cleaner to let Jac in as she left something. Jac went back after 3 minutes I guess and she got the phone! According to her they haven’t reach the room yet when the hotel staff that just came from cleaning the room went out and handed her the phone. Kudos to them! they truly made our stay a wonderful and memorable one.
looks like a good stay! Love the story about the lost phone - it's always so nice when get your stuff back without any trouble!
